Q - Why is the
cost so low?
A - After an initial face-to-face consultation,
all contact between us is by phone, email and post. This
means we can remove all travel and time costs from our
overheads. It also means we can easily offer CONTACT to
businesses outwith our local area.
Q – Will this create more work for me?
A – On the contrary! Once the systems are
set up and running, we take care of all the time-consuming
work and make your life much easier. For example,
with our Easy Marketing package all you have to do is
come up with the deals, events and promotions, and we
do the rest.
Q - Can I subscribe to just one of the services?
A - Yes, you can choose to subscribe to either our Customer
Feedback Management service or our Easy Marketing package,
or both.

Do your services really suit most businesses?
A - Definitely! Our services are based upon two
key factors crucial to all business success: find
out what your customers really think about your business
and adapt it to suit; and stay in regular contact with
your existing customers.
Q -
I already have a database of sorts, but it’s in
a mess. Can you help?
A - Very probably. We can import most
information into our database software, then sort it for
you. Although this would be outwith the scope of our standard
service, we are happy to provide a quotation for this
sort of additional work.
Q - Where is my database stored, and is it safe?
A - Your database is stored on a dedicated server that
is backed-up daily.
Q - Who owns the information in my database?
A - You always retain ownership of your database information.
At the end of a contract the information is returned to
you, neatly arranged in a spreadsheet.
Q -
I’m aware there are laws surrounding sending marketing
information to customers, and I don’t want to be
accused of sending spam. What steps do you take to protect
me?
A - Your customers always have the option to choose
if they want to receive marketing information. By ticking
a box, they provide what is called ‘positive opt-in’.
It is therefore vital that customers are given sufficient
incentive to want to opt-in. The more willingly they give
their contact details, the more receptive they’ll
be to marketing. Your customers are also given the option
to unsubscribe from emails at any time.
Q -
How do you encourage our customers to complete a feedback
card, or give us their contact details?
A - We don’t, but you do! It is
essential that you offer an incentive to customers to
take the time to provide you with what is very valuable
information. Entry to a prize draw is usually sufficient,
and the more generous the prize, the greater the likelihood
of acquiring that information.
Q - I want to send out leaflets by post. Can you put them
into envelopes for me?
A - Yes, for an additional fee based on quantity.
Q - Why is the cost of items such as text messages and
mailshot postage not included?
A - Because these costs can vary according to the amount
of monthly activity. By charging a flat monthly subscription
with built-in activity levels, you can be sure you only
pay for what you use.
Q - Why don’t you provide marketing advice?
A - Although we provide regular suggestions and advice
on maximising your customer database, we don’t pretend
to be marketing experts. For that, you should hire a consultant.
Just remember it’s difficult to find one charging
less than £500 per day, and most will be a lot more.
We don’t provide the marketing message, but we do
provide the means for you to deliver marketing quickly,
easily and efficiently, and with no additional work for
you or your staff. Of course, our services can combine
very well with any external consultants you may use. One
final thought - the first recommendation most marketing
consultants would make is to establish a system to regularly
find out what your customers think of your service. And
the second recommendation would be to market directly
